Enlist this REAP interactive module to examine and research the changing composition and growth of the major sources of personal income for any county and over any time interval between 1969-2008.

Calibrating the relative importance and tracking the individual contribution of Earned Income, Property Income and Transfer Payments is essential to understanding the underlying character and growth of county and regional total personal income, particularly given the dynamics of the contemporary setting.

Location quotients identify and are used in regional economics research to calibrate the degree of relative importance and concentration of earned, property and transfer payments incomes within and across county economies.
Growth rates for each major income component are reported to gauge their progression against one another, and against their counterparts state and nationwide.
Component contributions are enumerated to isolate the contribution of each income source to the overall growth of total personal income for the county.

This module provides a unique and insightful perspective on the county economy focusing on the income side of the coin drawing from the regional income accounts compiled by the Personal Income Division of the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
